WSF manufactures Vulcanizers, also called heaters, autoclaves, kettles or reactors, for the curing of rubber and plastic products and composites. They can be used for process simulation or full scale production equipment.
WSF Vulcanizers are available in a wide range of sizes and design pressures in vertical or horizontal configurations. The process medium can be steam, a combination of steam and air or inert gas, "Dry Heat" produced by electrical heaters, steam or hot oil autoclave jackets, or circulating hot gases.
Design features available include the quick-access RAPIDOOR ® and external RAPID/LOADER® moving door with integral product cart.
Our unique control systems permit accurate duplication of process cycles using simultaneous but independent application of air (or inert gas) and/or steam.
Vertical Slide Style RAPIDOOR ®
Special models include:
WSF RAPIDOOR ® closures are readily adaptable to existing load/unload, and material handling systems. WSF engineering staff also custom designs material handling equipment to meet your production requirements.
Our equipment can be fully integrated with any of our quick-access door configurations providing single-source responsibility for the complete system.
WSF control systems can provide the level of sophistication that your application requires, our complete packages range from PLC controlled systems with user friendly operator touch-screens to simple microprocessor based time-controlled systems. Several types of documentation are available including: circular and strip chart recorders, paperless recorders, and other options.
WSF Vulcanizing Autoclaves can also be skid-mounted (when size permits) with process valves, steam-generating equipment, water treatment and blow-down systems providing a complete packaged system, ready to connect to your power and process supplies.
